The Worldwide Cleansing Initiative

The WWCI (Worldwide Cleansing Initiative) is a group of interest dedicated to the complete eradication of anomalous entities, objects, and phenomena.

Similar to the collective, they attempt to keep such phenomena hidden from the eye of the public, choosing to operate in secrecy. They appear to share the same goal of maintaining normalcy in the lives of every individual, though their solution to the problem is much more abrasive and destructive. They believe that the mere existence of anomalies is a major threat to the continued development and growth of the human race.

The WWCI does not support or condone the long-term study of anomalies. Unfortunately, due to their widespread influence all over the globe, unlike the Collective’s centralization in America, they maintain a significant advantage in influence compared to ours, which means that many anomalies outside of America are destroyed before the Collective can even discover them. The WWCI also considers Johnny Colt Armstrong to be a dangerous, top-priority anomaly, and have been open their disdain towards him. They have even gone on record to refer to him as “the most dangerous anomaly alive.”

Despite having multiple disputes, there are quite a number of instances in which the WWCI and the Collective collaborate on certain projects, typically during the neutralization of dangerous, unconfined anomalies.

One known operative of theirs, Connor Mann, is currently a (unwilling) participant of The Armstrong Experiment. The WWCI is not aware of this, and only believe him to be MIA, though they do suspect the Collective of some foul play.
